Daniel’s Testimony
I was raised in a bi-cultural home in Peru, my father being from Japan and my mother being from Iquitos, the Amazon jungle of Peru. At the age of 9, the Lord showed me my need of Him and He saved me. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast” Ephesians 2:8-9. Unfortunately, my father died without knowing the Lord. This opened my eyes to the need of reaching others with the gospel and as of the age of 16, I was very much involved in different mission works and ministries. The Lord called me to the ministry when I was 18, using the Luke 9:62. Later that year, I enrolled in a Baptist Bible Seminary in Lima, Peru. A couple years later, I helped another missionary start a mission work in San Juan de Lurigancho in Lima, which is a very impoverished area.

Kathy’s Testimony
My wife, Kathy, is from the United States and she is a third-generation missionary’s kid. Her grandparents worked as missionaries in the Andes Mountains of Peru and in Chile their entire lives. Her parents are missionaries in the Mantaro Valley of Peru. They have also worked in Chile, and in the Peruvian cities of Huanuco, Lima, Huancayo and Jauja. My wife was born in Chile and spent most of her life in Peru. At the young age of 6, she trusted in the Lord as her Savior. Even as a child, her dream was to serve the Lord as a missionary’s wife and raise children for His glory. She is very happy to now be a mother to our 6 children and to homeschool the older ones. She is a wonderful helpmeet to me in this ministry and teaches the ladies and teen girls in our church.

Luke 9:62
"And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God."
